Well, I can't seem to remember what happened this morning, or for that matter five minutes ago, and now you want me to reminisce about a week? You gotta be kidding me. Oh, for the record, I do remember what happened five minutes ago. I had a fight with my brother. Nothing too harsh, but he can be quite annoying, the little bugger. He's a teen, what can I say? Boy, I was young once, I remember those very dark days.
What am I saying? These are still those dark and strange days... the storm is bound to come, sooner or later, and right now, the fury can be seen across darkened skies. The blurry of colors in shades of gray, black and dark blue, all moving and zig-zagging... depicting an epic battle along the contour of the sky, raining dropping down hard on me.
Oi, oi, oi...!!! *stands up and snaps out of it*
Please, do NOT let me ramble on and on like that. Tell you, when I start babbling like that just slap me or something. It is not good, I say.
"Well, well..."
Now, for the highlights: Uh, let's see. *thinks*
*thinks*
Sheesh...! I wish I could remember, this could have been a great update. But I can't even remember. Mmm, slowly things will come back, I am sure of it.
THE KELLOW ISSUE
Not so much an issue anymore, but I neglected this long enough. Do you remember days ago, I spoke of our monthly gathering. Not monthly, in the sense that months seem to go by faster without seeing each other. Both of us are to be held with blame on that issue, but that will be dealt with later. He could not attend because of an urgent matter, and that matter appears to be settled now, or so he said, the last time we spoke. Which was not in length as both of us would have wished. It appears my long time friend was upset at me, for bailing out on Master Foseng. Master had his wedding on August 30th, which was actually his own birthday (Kellow's, not Foseng's). Now, I couldn't go because... ah, sheesh, I'm not telling that one again. I think I've gone through enough. Fact of the matter is that he was quite upset at my not showing. Even more so than Foseng himself. What makes me mad, is the fact that he said nothing to me, an I heard that from third parties. Now that sucked, having him talk to me all calm, but swearing on my name behind my back. Course I confronted him about it, only to leave me walking out mad. So, I have no fucking clue how he felt about it, but I got very depressed over it, I mean we have been really tight and close over the past few years. It's not fun having fights with close friends, but on the other hand, I had no say in this and my version was unheard. I knew it was something stupid, when he overreacted and he wasn't the groom... nor the bride. ^_^;
At any rate, I had the chance to apologize to Foseng and to explain my reason for doing so in detail. Of course he understood, if anything, he has been the Voice of Reason quite the many, many times among us three. What I find strange, and normal at the same time, is how we seem to drift so far apart... it seemed I was a key element in that one, at the very same time in which I was part of another intrincate team, Roberto, Joe and me. Almost at the same time, I was friends with Damian and Chava. I was on three different teams then... I shall talk about those three teams later on. Oh, there was another, that I did not forget to include, but it had a repetition. At that time, in high school, Kellow introduced me to a wonderful person: Tex. I still see him today, and I will not forget what those two did for me. Four Different Groups of People I shall never forget.
oi, oI, OI!!!
Not only am I doing that again, but I am getting emotional and way out of topic. I was in many different teams at the time, mainly because high school was a time of Discovery... I found strong pillars that I see still in this day and age. And for that I am grateful. But, oi... let me get back to this chapter at hand. I do promise, I will go back again.
Once I had apologized to Foseng, he was kind enough to invite me to a dinner on the following saturday, this was on Saturday, the 14th, I think. I spent the whole saturday with Vicious-kun, going here and there and using the Dreamcast and the PlayStation 2. By the time Walter was supposed to come so we'd head off to Foseng's, I was going nuts. I had an awful headache, which has been happenning quite often now, I realize. I did not want to take any of my sister's medication or even a simple aspirin... I keep growing afraid I will become addicted to pills. ^^
Walter was late, as usual. It seems he fell asleep after getting back from work, and I had to call to his house (again) at the time when he was supposed to be at my place. When he finally did come, he told me that Va Boy and Pahcko were to join us. They were stuck at Ship's playing soccer games like crazy, and Walter was about to join them when I stopped him. I was smokin' and quite furious...
The ride over to Foseng's actually calmed me down, they look like the Three Stooges, honestly. The keep calling each other stupid names, hitting each other and saying stupid things. Yes, they're quite amusing. Va Boy took us there in his truck, which Pahcko aptly calls 'The Mystery Machine'. I tell you, Walter could be the dog, Va Boy could easily be 'Zoinks' and Pahcko the girl with glasses. But please, leave me out of it. They played Bon Jovi songs all the way through, which reminded me of Jr. High. Ah, the confusing times. It wasn't long until we got there...
Foseng seemed happy to have me there, I was very happy, too. I will tell you this: It was a bit awkward at first, yes. I don't think anyone noticed, but I was a bit nervous then. To my surprise and delight, Tex was there! I had a talking-buddy amongst the few strangers. We engaged conversation really quick and passed some time, while we watched some of pictures taken while Foseng and Nora (commonly referred by the 3 Stooges as the Barajas family... an in-joke about Nora's family name coming first than Foseng's...) were on their honeymoon touring France. There were a few great shots there. None too soon, Kellow arrived there. A cold handshake began the evening. Tex had gotten up and the only place available for him to sit was next to me. We avoided each other's eyesight. Or I know I was, anyway.
I don't really know who took the first step. I don't really care. All I know is that we're back where we were, in a few minutes' time we were back on track. So now I feel kinda stupid at feeling down about this for days. I wonder if he realizes what this sort of ordeal does to me. Doesn't matter, really. I guess it doesn't, anyway. I guess that's what true friendship is... not really being able to decipher how the other person will react towards a situation or other, and how things will usually go and fall back into place.
PS. I will finish this, eventually...
PPS. I finally got the Comments thingy running... no one's posted anything yet. ~_~ Dante Sparda posted this at 2:44 AM.
