[Um, this goes after the last one, and happened on 9/7/2002... though right now is Tuesday... : / ]

There's lots to be told and so little time. After the walk on Saturday morning, I fell asleep for what seemed like ages, only to find out if it had been about two, maybe three hours. It was my mom, apparently my aunt wanted to buy a DVD player and she wanted to find out about some prices. It must've been about 11:30am then, and as Joe wasn't about to wake up (even though he had slept more), I figured I should just get back to sleep.

I was about 1:30pm when I decided that it was too hot and too bright to be sleeping. I may be a bit on the lazy side, but it's a love-hate relationship. Who doesn't really enjoy a good night's sleep? But on the other hand, I feel like it's wasted time.

Ah, well. After a few rounds of Tekken Tag Tournament Joe went back home, and I decided I should work on the page for a bit. When I think about that, I realize I am *never* going to finish that...

Anxiety attack, though. I used to be so comfortable at home resting for the weekend or just using the computer and stuff, but even so, I had the urge of calling someone so they'd be over. In all fairness, after a whole week of work and suffering, you kinda expect to hang out with your friends on the weekend, even if it is just to goof around. Having a job that expects you to at least work either a Saturday or a Sunday, you gotta make 'em count. So, of course I called the Vice man. I called a bunch other people to no avail. It would seem that I need to book appointments with my friends in two weeks' time.

Yup, I'm the only one who's single and always available. And that, in one word, sucks.

After a while we decided that going to the movies would be nice, so we went to see Reign of Fire in spite of everyone's comments. We were going to see Road to Perdition, but decided against it, as we weren't in the best of moods to begin. We knew the latter was a superior film in terms of quality and plot, but quite frankly I wanted to see the dragons on the big screen. Which is not to say that I don't enjoy great cinema, as most of Tom Hank's work is. Except maybe for that Bachelor Party and Splash movies... oh, and then there's Big. But I do respect his newer work. From Philadelphia onwards, I think.

The mood itself was strange for a while, Vicious is a close friend of mine. Not to diminish my other friends, they are all a great and huge part of my life, in their own great way. I guess most of the few friends I have, are close but I mean that it would seem we have gone to a stage in our friendship when silence is no longer uncomfortable. Granted, not the most optimum in most cases as the conversation and laughs are the expected thrill-rides in our little gatherings, but silence isn't an enemy. We are comfortable with silence. He has been dealing with a personal loss for a while, and I think I haven't been feeling very well for the past... life?

Be that as it may, I thought that calmness could be felt and I could certainly reach out and grab it. It was a nice little feeling, however vague and strange it might sound, dear reader.

When we were going into the theater, as we were walking down the hall that leads to the small theater (it was a multiplex), I thought I'd recognized a girl I used to know from my old job, who was walking with a small child. I stopped and turned around but I didn't really recognize her. I decided against it and kept walking and chatting freely with Vicious. A round of popcorn assaulted Vicious and we came to a stop, it was a drive-by with popcorn. Well, actually no, our sittin-by'er was none other than an old aquaintance, Carmen. She was nice and told me about Merkafon, that wasn't precisely my first choice when it comes to jobs, as the campaign I was going to work in, a phone company that starts with "S" and ends with "PRINT" wasn't that hot. And hey, had I stayed there, the two week adventure wouldn't have taken place in the first place.

At any rate, she told me that the other phone company, the one that starts with "A" and ends with "T&T" was to open soon, and that I should go back to Merka and apply again. From what she told me, it was going to be good pay. But I don't know... I usually don't like my job, but I kinda like it... I like some of the people there... well, I know I probably don't get along with most, but who cares? Plus, I'd hate to leave the online family... most of my generation already left.

And it' be a shame to stop talking to certain people. No, I'm not telling. ^_^ *blushes* Ahem! *clears throat* And SavesGirl! I'd hate to stop looking at her. I am so sick... ~_~ I will tell you more, but I will have to write the 2 Week Adventure first... and here I am, writing about the Misadventures of Mobius One.

At any rate, it was nice saying 'hi' to her after a while. Just looking at her made me remember lots of the old NOS times, both good and bad. And I used to get teased so much by her... But THAT is another thing I'm keeping to myself. Oh, and that girl I saw in the hallway? Yeah, it was Samantha, my old supervisor from NOS.

For the ones that just tuned to our show, NOS is my old, old job. My second job, actually, but the first callcenter I ever worked at.

We were sitting at the theater and we were like fifteen minutes early. Which actually came by rather fast... we tend to talk a lot, which is what I like about my friends... I don't think any of them actually hate my rants. Or do they? *raises an eyebrow* Well, perhaps they do, but they are nice and don't tell me.

I hate going to a movie with Vicious, I really do. Well, except if it's a comedy, he'll rant on and on about how fake something is, how weird, how stupid, improbable, ridiculous... and this was not a movie that you'd like to sit next to him. In all fairness, it was a funny moment. There I was, heart in my mouth, teary-eyed at the disaster... and Vicious criticizing the movie, hacking madly... mind you, he was making fun of me for getting so emotional with such a movie. The big meanie.

I don't know! I'm just like that... that's exactly why I don't sit with my mom to watch dramas... heck, I've cried watching anime. Oh, shut up.

We bought some subs, that tasted... ok. And watch Eking Cheng's The Duel. Far better than I'd expected, though not as good as The Stormriders, or the Young and Dangerous movies.After that, we watched Samurai I: Miyamoto Musashi and that was a wild ride. The movie itself is nice, but Vicious was kinda lost throughout all of the movie. I'm afraid he can't tell Japanese apart... ^_^;;

"It's like watching a movie called KING KONG and not having even a monkey in it!"

That's how lost he was. ^___^ But I laughed so hard. I think that was a Mega LoL.

And that's how it came to pass that Saturday ended. I woke up five minutes before the start of my shift thanks to a black out during the night, causing my tv not to turn itself on, and thus impending my sleep chain time to be kept linked.

And that's it! You know the rest of the story... I think. Today is... Tuesday, well, actually Thursday... I'm only two days behind now.. should I update daily? I'm never going to finish this. Most of Sunday, after work, anyway, was spent writing and goofing off. I forgot what I did on Monday... couldn't have been that much, anyway.

I didn't do much, I remember. I had a horrible headache... so I couldn't update anything, not the blog, nor the page. Yup, my first break. ^^ I actually just surfed around for a while, listened to Sonata Arctica and Viper for a while and helped an old friend in need. You know who you are, should you need my assistance, I will be there when you call. Friends do that, right? Right! But do send me a Donald Duck cap, ok? I know I shall miss you dearly when you go there.

Well, this shall wrap today's episode: I just remembered why I lost my temper, mood and why I had that headache in the first place. Walter a.k.a. The Lord of Hentai works in the same company I work at, but in a different campaign. When both our shifts ended, he told me quite a few things, and that's what set me off. That, however, is a very long and long story. Quite franly, I want to end this now so I can post it and go to bed.

It should be wrapped with a nice story, ne? Well, today rained.

Just that? Well, no. The rain has a weird effect on me, it depresses everyone I know, but makes me cheerful... I walked in the streets while listening to Sonata. I noticed the improvement when I realized I was happily taking my calls and helping everyone on the chat and talking to our newbies... stuff like that. Kinda makes me wonder if I really am a bad person.

I should not go there. I am now listening to Angra's Gentle Change. I should end this now...

Hoping that tomorrow, will rain again...

PS. Please listen to Rainy Nights by Angra.

[9/7/2002 - Part III : The End Of This Chapter Episode II (Continuation).]
Wow, not that is one hell of a saga. *chuckles* My bad. It's Sunday, late at night, almost Monday and I'm still writing about Friday, oh well. : /

After that long talk with Arisu, my spirits were high, but I felt sad as well. Arisu gave me some shocking news: She and Kellow broke up. That might mean jack-feces to you, but it does hurt me. Yes, I still can be his friend, but it will most likely not be the same, as well as 'same' goes anyway. Perhaps what bothers me the most is the fact that they always seemed so happy, being in each other's arms. Now that gave me hope. Love isn't all that bad after all, I just happen to have some bad experiences that I might tell you all someday. Hehe, most of you know, anyway. ^_^

In any case, I wish in the back of my mind, maybe unconciously that they get back together again. They were together for years... One can only wish, but at the same thing I can do nothing, as it is not my life. One should never interfere with other's decisions unto their loved ones. Well, that's contradictory, I know. A little advice here and there doesn't hurt, now does it? Well, yes it does. And it doesn't. Ah... life can be such a pain in the sense you never really know what the *right* thing to do is. Until you do it, and it all goes wrong. That's called 'learning', isn't it? Life can be hard. But that's what makes it all interesting and worthwhile. Sheesh! I sound optimistic. Worry you not, dear reader, for it all will go downhill from here. I promise.

Even if they do not get back together, I wish them both the best, from the bottom of my heart. What ever path you should take, be earnest and fight (so to speak) for what you believe in. I shall try to be by you, supporting your decision.

(sigh)

Life seemed too good with those around, if they couldn't make it, then who? Certainly doom and gloom awaits me. I hope not, it might not seem like much, but I have endured quite a bit, and seems like a storm is brewing. Not like I didn't see that one coming, the storm anyway.

And I know I say this a lot, but these are dark and strange days. It seems that my friends are breaking up, Vicious broke up with his girlfriend after being together for like two whole years. That is a lot, in my opinion. So now I have two depressed close friends. What am I to do? They're trying to get my job, usually I'm the regular, the resident depresso-slash-nutcase.

In any case, there's probably not much I can do, but to try and be supportive. I know that helped in my days. Which was a few weeks ago. When there was no one. >_<

Hey, I'm not trying to lay any blame there, it was my own fault. For some reason, I keep having this belief that whenever I dig myself into trouble, it shall be me and only me who will dig myself out. Time after time, I have realized that this doesn't necesarily have to be so, but I keep at it. Go figure.

When I am troubled, I'll probably run and tell someone, but most of the times I keep myself the guilt, blame and shame inside. Not good... This will have to change of course, but I daresay it won't be soon. Unless my friends gang up on me and give me a good beating. Which at the same time wouldn't surprise me the least bit, I think I'd be more amazed at the fact that they ganged up at the same time, you know, with everyone's schedule difference. ^_^

Damn jobs.

Anyway, but the time I got to my job I was cheery and sunny as ever. Not. But actually I was, just not the 'as ever' part. And I had a pretty good day at work, in spite of the system crashing for about an hour and shuffling angry customers, not to mention I lost a couple of easy sales I could've nailed in the blink of an eye.

Now for the real kicker:

When I got home, I noticed something weird... something strange and eerie. My computer was on (no, that's not the scary part), and aim was on.

Now, I usually leave it on, for the sake of communication between my computer at home and the one at work, having internet access at work I can send my weekly schedule and whatever information I could use, most of it is the e-mails I get from work, I'll forward them to my house account and revise them. I know, that sounds stupid, but I actually do. And should I need anything, my sister is always around at the time I am at work, so I can just send her a quick message in between calls.

The weird part, is the fact that she was there. I never cared about blocking her, as I have nothing to run away, or be afraid of. But I also have nothing to discuss with her. Apparently she did. She started talking and mentioned what an awful day she had had and told me a sad story. Dealing with people in your past that you wish you'd never met is hard. Yes, it is that bad. I do not want to talk with my ex-girlfriend because it is too sad, I am always burning with rage at the sight of her words.

Do I hate her?

I do not know. A part of me does. Most of myself hated her on sight. I just wish I could forget... erase everything:.. jeez, why am I shaking..? -_-;;; *cold sweat* Why does it always end like this? I, ... I told her off in the most rude of ways. I said hurtful things to her. I spoke with rage in my heart, when it should have been my brain thinking and replying.

So she is gone, again. And I am tired, I do not enjoy doing that every third month of the year, why she hasn't forgotten about a slimeball like me still bothers me. Why can she just not leave me alone? I don't need her, and I am sorry, but I don't want to know anything else about her.

But she had an accident. Or so she said. Either way, I'm glad she's fine and all, but I don't want to know about her anymore, I want to just move on, because... Because she just left me scarred, she did all those things and has the idea that somehow we will....

I can just block her online, it is as simple as that. But how do you keep the horrible memories from coming back every single day? There's no block for that? None that I have found.

I hated myself for being so rude to her, and I felt like the worst person in the absolute face of the Earth. Was there other way? My very good friend, at work, came back minutes afterward. You know who you are. Thanks Kami-sama he did. I was breaking down in my usual fashion, being the pathetic excuse of a man I am, so we started talking. Somehow he managed to get a grip on me. Eased my pain. I can no longer recollect his exact words, but some I won't forget are these:

"You are right man. What's bothering you is the fact that you are right, that you have to act this way because it's not your style. That's a conflict in you, and you dont like it... but thats the way it is."

He said quite a few things, and he helped me enormously. There are things I can not change, but I must not let myself go down because of one incident, no matter how huge it is, or how it affects my usual behavior. While this seems like a lot, it has to be done... sure, I'm not a Zen Master, but I have to try and level my emotions. Sounds easy, huh?

By that time, I was beat. And the night was just beginning... my buddy Joseph came online and we decided that he should stay over at my house for the night. He was going to get some dinner with his dad first, though. After watching 'Die Hard' for the ten millionth time (no, it hasn't lost it's charm yet) with my little brother and my sister, he showed up.

So, we started talking, as I showed him a few scenes of 'The Stormriders' on DVD. I hadn't seen him for a while, so needless to say, we had a lot to discuss. We talked for a while, but decided we could do it while watching a tape of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty that I had done while playing the game from beginning to end. Well, the first tape, anyway.

Halfway through it, I was falling asleep, but I tried being up, feeling it would be rude if I fell asleep in the middle of him saying how something was funny, but heck, I did it. I already played it.. so... ^_^;

He kept laughing or pointing out something, therefore waking me up, until he thought that he was tired enough. It wasn't even that late, but man I was tired... my job will do that to me.

Damn job.

When I thought that he'd finally let me sleep, he started talking.

And talking,
and talking,
and talking...

It's not like I don't enjoy our conversations, I wholeheartedly love 'em. They tend to be very analytical (as per Joe's nature to analyze and think about things) and fun. Quite interesting, to say but one thing. Only problem with Joe, is that he tends to monopolize the conversation just a bit. He tends to put things into perspective quite a lot, which is great, as that helps me somewhat to understand myself better. He's helpful, albeit single-minded. Which can be great, in certain situations.

I would go on and on about our great conversation, but most of what was discussed is private. He did mention a couple of things I will have to comment here later, if time allows and my memory does not fail, as it often does.

At about 7:15 am Saturday, Joe decided he was too tired to talk anymore and decided to leave me, eyes wide open, wide awake lying in my bed. Not much I could do, since I couldn't sleep... so I did what usually works great against insomnia. I wanted to take my dog out for a walk. Hey! It's worked before, my saturday 4am walks with my trusty dog, the Black Demon/Black Beast. ^_^; Should any evildoers try to get within reach, my dog would eat them whole. So, I usually don't worry much about walking the pitch-black streets.

I was too tired, though, so I decided to skip the walking the dog part and settled on just walking myself. I changed into a pair of jeans, sneakers and my sweatshirt that has a front pocket to fit my discman, put on my Sonata Arctica Songs of Silence Live in Tokyo 2001 cd and headed home. A tip, always carry an ID, a couple of change and keys. Wallet is not necessary and I wouldn't recommend it. A watch also helps.

I walked a lot. I strided along Rayon all the way to Ocampo, turned left towards Cuauhtemoc and all the way to Colon. After taking another left, I went all the way back through Pino Suarez, walked around Alameda once, and as I was finishing the first 'lap', for lack of a better word, I realized I could no longer listen to the music on my headphones and my sight was growing dim. So, 'I had to stop for the night'. It was only one block to my house.

And that's how it came to pass, that Friday was over and Saturday started shining, as I laid in bed.

I'm tired. It's already Monday morning... September 9th 2:55am here. I shall upload this and go to bed. Questions? Comments...? I don't have the comment script ready... yaccs stopped taking registrations... ~_~ Oh, well. I shall work something out. In the meantime! You can reach me at:

[9/7/2002 - Part II : The End Of This Chapter... a.k.a. One About Arisu]

Well, duh... phone numbers, what did you expect? Aside from that, there were some old numbers of people I really don't remember or care not for anymore. Gee, that sounds awful, I know. That's not what's important, what is, is the fact that I found just the one number I seemed to need the most:

It was Arisu-chan's phone! No, I'm not going to post it here, sheesh... ¬¬

Ah... Arisu-chan. The bigger sister I never had and always wanted and needed. I didn't even know I had her phone, so I call, without that much hope as it really is an old file. Kami-sama knows I wanted to call her sooner, but alas, I did not have her phone.

Her first name sounds funny in English, and her second name's 'Alice', I guess you could say I just had to make it sound a bit more Japanese. ^^ A bit later, I found myself adding '-chan' instinctively, much like I've been known to add '-dono' to a few other people too.

It always seems like it was yesterday, it never ceases to amaze me how clearly those days are embedded in my head, so vivid... I still remember those long two free periods, when Tex and Kellow would go to their class and I would stay outside with Arisu, just talking and hanging out. Those memories, while not the best times, as I had a lot to deal with back then, always put a smile on my face whenever I think of us just walking back and forth thru the campus talking our minds off. We were always interrupted, as she is quite the popular girl, and it would seem like she knows just about everyone. And the few people she doesn't know, I'm sure that they do know her. She would constantly stop in the middle of something and say: "Do you want me to stop talking now?" And I would smile, "No, please go on." And I would listen attentively to every little word that came out of her mouth. She's just this really nice and spunky girl. And I had a blast listening to her speak her mind and soul away.

Now, I know not what you might be thinking, but please do NOT get the wrong idea. Arisu is Kellow's wife, that makes her my... um, well Kellow's my brother so she's my sister-in-law. Well, actually... that's... not entirely accurate, but I shall get into that later.

After a lot of thinking, I came to the conclusion that I should give her a call. I wasn't really sure what I'd say, especially since it had been forever since I last saw her, back in... I can't remember. It must have been one of Walter's birthday parties. In any case, I mustered up enough courage and called her. I wasn't really sure what to expect, or if she would be home. Had someone else picked up, I would have probably left a message under a pseudonym. I don't know her parents, although I did know her sister. Not much, though. I'm sure she would have wrestled with the idea of who 'Nicholas' was and where he knew him from. No, I like not messing with other people's heads... just with my friends'. ^_^

I dialed the number, puzzled at the amount of digits that came out in print. Could it be a cellphone number? Ah, who knows...

"Hello?" Came a hurried voice on the phone, it seemed much like the times when you do a mad dash over the phone, strange music could be heard over the line, and some faint background noise. There was no mistake, although a bit hoarse, it was her.

"Well, well... how are you?" I said, not trying to fake a voice, but rather trying to keep all emotion away from it. Now it was when the fun would begin.

"Uh, who is this?" She asked, both curious and puzzled.

"Who do you think this is?" I asked, raising the tone a bit.

"Oh, stop it. Please tell me who it is." She replied, not scared, but cautious and even more puzzled.

"You know very well who I am." I finished.

By this point I was so delighted! I was really tempted to say "You almost got away from me, didn't you..." but I thought I had messed with her enough... ^_^; And NO for those of you who might be thinking I ripped this off from that pseudo-horror movie Scream, you're wrong. I was almost reciting The End Of This Chapter, a song by Sonata Arctica. Whenever I find cheap hosting, I might upload it. It's an eerie-sounding song... albeit, powerful, sad and melancholic one.

By then, she started calling names, her cousin something, her friend I don't know who... then *pow*! She said:

"Wow, it's Noé!" Excitement in her voice, as she nearly screamed. This is weird, not many people cheer at the sound of my presence, let alone my voice. Strange, yet cool. Noé, mind you, is the name they chose. I like it, it's nice, short and has this whole meaning that fits me like a glove. I shall tell you all about it someday. Yet, I don't think I like to wear my name off... I sort of use other cool nicknames for that matter.

It must have been... well, it couldn't have been more than 20-25 minutes because I had to go to work. Damn work, always ruins my fun. But even so, I felt strange, less aggraviated... almost... cheery. Yes, that is the effect some girls have on me, and mind you, this person is not one I'd like to lose. Arisu, should you be reading, I will try to e-mail and call more often, now I have your phone and e-mail address, so...

*bows*

And so, the day went on, my head held up high, unknowing what lay ahead...

Hello,

Just as I promised, I have -finally- finished yesterday's rants. It took quite a while, but here it is. To make things easier, I have split them into thee parts. Enjoy!

[9/7/2002 - Part I: The King of Procrastination]

Hey,

I *don't* like mornings. Wait, it is over 1:30pm. Geez, I must sound like a slacker, lazy bum. Yesterday was certainly interesting, to say the very least. And I'm being subtle here. It all started when I woke up, I honestly felt like I was the worst person in the world. Don't ask why. I proceeded to get out of the bed, while tripping and hitting my toe. Doesn't everyone hate that? I do. I should have known it wasn't going to be a good day, and stayed in bed. That of course, would have been the end of my rant here. And yes, the inquiring minds would not be satisfied. But, let's face it, my only audience here is myself.

After doing a couple of things I got back to the house, and tried to update my page, which still lies dormant. I'll revive it somehow, worry not. Being the Supreme Master (Double Dragon II, anyone?) of Procrastination... yes, I just proclaimed to be the King of Procrastination, I know... Well, I put off the whole updating business second to talking to the people that were online. I probably scared Vicious a whole lot, which reminds me, I should call him to see if he wants to do something today. If you're reading this, buddy (which I highly doubt, not many people know the existance that is The Real Folk Blues... yet.

That sounded like a challenge, but then again, not like many people would be interested in listening to my seemingly endless whining. ^_^; I know I wouldn't! But I'm stuck with myself, so I might as well vent out these feelings... somewhere.

It was certainly nice to have someone to talk to, though. There were a few people online that I'm always glad to see, and had a chance to say 'hi' to. How they keep putting up with me, I have no clue, but I think that's what makes them overall cool.

Well, I checked my e-mail and got a message from Kellow saying that he would be unable to come to my house for our monthy gathering of meal and long talk. Since we can't get our schedules to coincide, we usually just get together once a month to talk our minds. Nothing really comes out of it, and it is not like we fix the world's problems, but I really cherish the few times I get to talk to him... it will usually involve randomn movie quotes, Shawshank Redemption and Fight Club are preferred. Simpsons references, old memories... and general goofing. It's nice. I guess I could go on about our friendship, but most people find that sort of thing gay, gofigure. ^_^ And I really don't want to bore you more than you already must be. Kami-sama knows the trip here's already boring.

So, Kellow had 'urgent pressing matters' and explanations were to be followed up later. It's ok. I'm not mad at him or anything, but I was really looking forward to it. It doesn't really matter, he wouldn't have skipped on our gathering had he not had something urgent to do. So, he's forgiven. ^_^

After a seemingly endless streak of burning data into cd-roms, moving, deleting, creating and cleaning up of my hard drive I stumbled upon an old folder: "To Be Used Later" after tossing out unneeded files, I stumbled upon a strange and cryptic file...

telephones.txt

What ever will our brave and young hero find in there...?

Hey,

Working on a Sunday... the horror.

Yesterday was a great day, though. My only day off in all week, so it's heaven once it arrives, but unfortunately, it passed way sooner than I'd expected. I was actually updating the homepage and writing all about Friday, which was in turn a strange and bizarre day, albeit fun and full of twists. Only problem was, my sister wanted to use the computer so I had to save my work and leave. Right now I'm here at work, with many, many, many calls... I'm bored to death and sick of listening to the customers' complaints. Hint: I work at a callcenter and I handle lots of calls from a huge ISP. I'm not telling which, though. ^^; When I get home I will finish off Friday's rants and I might as well do something, maybe a little piece about yesterday's. I'll try to make it brief for my less patient audience, but truth to be told, once I start writing, I can't stop rambling about nothing and everything...

I've lots to do: Keep creating webpages that branch off my main page... I need to keep writing my story which has been neglected long enough. Plus, I just started writing this other story, about a huge event in my life... well, I say huge, but I'm being subtle... it only lasted about 2 and a half weeks. Still, I'm pretty busy and I wonder if I will ever manage to get things running smoothly. At this point, it seems highly unlikely. I'll try to see if I can upload the skeleton of what my page will be, just so the inquiring minds shall know what I am all about.

Me? I'll get back to those annoying calls, my break is over... It's a good thing my co-workers right now are funny and keep cracking me up, or this would really be punishment from the heavens, not all is lost it seems. ^_^
